Red Sauce: An Italian American Culinary Journey
The Coccia Institute for the Italian Experience in America is thrilled to announce the premiere of Red Sauce: An Italian American Culinary Journey.
Produced in partnership with the School of Communication and Media at Montclair State University, Red Sauce is a docuseries that explores how Italian American food—including pizza, chicken parmesan, spaghetti and meatballs, and the Philadelphia cheesesteak—transformed America, and how through food Italians assimilated into American culture.
Red Sauce is produced and narrated by Professor Mark Rotella, Director of the Coccia Institute and the Italian American Foodways Project at MSU.
Join us for the WORLD PREMIERE of the pilot episode on Wednesday, October 12th from 6:00-8:30pm in the School of Communication & Media Presentation Hall (Room 1040).
