Ancient Etruscans purchased showy vases from Greece and placed them in their family tombs in Italy to show their wealth and taste. Modern European and American museums and individuals have acquired, often illegally, such vases for their own pleasure and display, thus sending them on yet another long journey. This lecture traces the wanderings of several of them.
