Taste of Entrepreneurship – An Evening with Food Entrepreneurs

Our food entrepreneurship event on March 19 will cover perspectives from chefs, restaurateurs, food company founders, sustainability food enterprises, and innovative culinary business models. “Taste of Entrepreneurship – An Evening with Food Entrepreneurs” will cover key trends and issues regarding food entrepreneurship in New Jersey.

Event is presented by Montclair State’s Department of Nutrition and Food Studies, and Feliciano Center for Entrepreneurship.

Event is free and open to the public, but attendees MUST pre-register for this special event:

The evening will consist of two parts:

5:30-6:45 p.m. (room 140) TALK & TASTE
Participating companies will set up food tastings and handouts on tables while people munch and mingle. Attendees can sample food while they network.

6:45-8:30 p.m. (room 101) KEYNOTE & PANEL DISCUSSION

Keynote Speaker:

FLOYD CARDOZ, chef, restauranteur, and winner of Bravo's Top Chef Masters. Cardoz will talk about how he got his start, keying into his entrepreneurial spirit and the cultural factors that influenced his pathway to success. He will also touch upon current trends facing the industry such as culture, diet, health, sustainability, and food injustice.
