Participants will learn to turn a single strip of paper into a book using an accordion fold, with calligraphy content

The accordion book has been around for centuries and continues to fascinate book artists with its versatility. Learn to turn a strip of paper into a book, with calligraphy content by Ann Vollum and instruction by Karen McDermott. Discussion of paper grain and a foolproof folding technique will guarantee a book to be proud of. Materials to add a touch of color will be provided as well as sample books for you to explore.

Each workshop is $5 per participant, FREE for MSU students. All materials will be provided. No bookmaking experience is necessary.

EACH WORKSHOP IS LIMITED TO 12 PEOPLE.
