Montclair State University’s School of Communication and Media (SCM) will honor NBC News Chief White House Correspondent and MSNBC Host Hallie Jackson with the Allen B. Du Mont Broadcaster of the Year Award at a special Colloquium.
Ms. Jackson will discuss her career and current trends in Journalism. There will also be audience Q &A.
In addition to her White House reporting, she hosts “MSNBC Live with Hallie Jackson” weekday mornings. She provided extensive coverage of the 2016 Presidential campaign.Ms. Jackson started her career as a reporter at local television stations in Maryland and Hartford, Ct. then became a Washington correspondent for the Hearst Television Stations across the nation.
