A MSU Physics Alumni's Experience: From Teaching to Optics

Jonathan Norton, Inradoptics

A graduate of Montclair State's Physics program, Jonathan Norton will describe how his physics degree has helped him throughout his career path, from teaching to sales. He will discuss how he arrived at his  current position at Inrad Optics, including a discussion of various kinds of optical components made there and their uses (including scientific research and applications in the space, medical, and defense sectors). Advice on finding a position in the optics industry will also be discussed.
