This online series will explore the dynamic interplay of race, music, healing, religion, and post-colonial theory inspired by the book, Is God Funky or What?: Black Biblical Culture and Contemporary Popular Music, authored by Dr. Theodore W. Burgh.  Part 3 features Dr. Hakeem Leonard and is hosted by Dr. Kate E. Temoney and Dr. Michael Viega

Dr. Hakeem Leonard is a musician, professor of music therapy, and equity leader at Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia.
