Using Italian Diction for Expressive Singing Operatic bass Federico Sacchi will work with MSU voice students in a Masterclass setting.

Federico Sacchi has distinguished himself for more than a decade in the European opera world for his noble timbre as well as for his actorial and interpretative skills. Following his debut, at only 23 years as Don Quichotte in Massenet’s homonymous opera, Sacchi has performed in many prestigious theaters, auditoriums and international festivals. Recent engagements include Lodovico in Verdi’s Otello with the Berliner Philarmoniker under the baton of Zubin Mehta at the Baden-Baden Festival as well as at the Philarmonie in Berlin, King Filippo II in Verdi’s Don Carlos at the National Theater in Brno as well as the title role in Rossini’s Mosè in Egitto at the Verdi Theater in Pisa.
