This dynamic duo hailing from Oberlin will perform works by William Grant Still, Albert Roussel, and Beethoven.

Violinist David Bowlin has won critical acclaim for his performances of a wide range of repertoire from the New York Times, Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Sun-Times, and many others. First prize winner of the 2003 Washington International Competition, Bowlin has performed as a soloist across the U.S. and abroad with recent concerto appearances with the Arctic Sinfonietta in Norway, the La Jolla Symphony, and at the Aspen Music Festival. Among his dozens of premieres are violin concerti written for him by Marcos Balter and Alexandra Hermentin, performed at Lincoln Center’s Mostly Mozart Festival and at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall.

Pianist Tony Cho enjoys a wide-ranging career in keyboard collaborative art as a recitalist, chamber musician, and opera and vocal coach. He has performed at Weill Carnegie Hall in New York City, Meany Hall in Seattle, Harris Concert Hall in Aspen, the Honolulu Museum of Art, Zipper Hall in Los Angeles, and many others in the United States and abroad. His performances with various singers and instrumentalists have been featured on WVIZ Cleveland’s Ovations Series, and live on KVOD Denver, KHPR Honolulu, and WMEA Maine Portland Public Radio’s Tiny Screen Concert Series. Cho, together with his chamber music partner, violinist David Bowlin, has recently appeared at the Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival and the Bowdoin International Music Festival (ME), Credo Chamber Music Festival (OH), Chamber Music Quad Cities (IA), An die Music NYC, Oberlin’s StageLeft virtual concert series, and at SongFest at the Colburn School (CA).
