Residence Requirements
A minimum of 30 credit hours of the total required for the baccalaureate degree must be completed at Montclair State University. The final 24 credit hours required for graduation must be taken at Montclair State University and cannot be acquired through transfer. Due to the unique nature of the RN-BSN degree completion program, these students may be exempt from the university’s last 24 hour residency requirement.
Any student who transfers from another institution with advanced standing int he major field of study is required to complete a minimum of 12 credit hours of upper division course work (300/400 level) in the major at Montclair State University. Some curricula may require more than this minimum,
