Dr. Coté-Bonanno leads the following areas:
Curriculum Development and Management by overseeing the submission of new academic programs to the State - NJ Academic Issues Committee (AIC) and serving as a member and reviewer for the NJ AIC. Also provides oversight of all internal curriculum management of programs and courses.
Assessment of Student Learning Outcomes (SLO) by overseeing the University SLO assessment processes of data collection, analysis and reporting.
Accreditation by representing Montclair as the Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO) for all Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) activities. This includes the development of the Self-Study Report and MSCHE Evaluation Team Visit. Other activities include MSCHE Substantive Changes, Additional Locations, Instructional sites, etc.
In addition, she collaborates and supports all University Disciplinary Accreditation.
Specialization
The Senior Associate Provost for Curriculum, Assessment and Accreditation manages all undergraduate and graduate curricular actions through all appropriate approval bodies. Oversees and coordinates General Education and Departmental Academic Assessment planning and implementation. Organizes Accreditation materials/ procedures for Middle States Commission on Higher Education(MSCHE) accreditation and provides direction and support for departmental or program accreditation.
