In addition to teaching at MSU, Kathy Curto facilitates writing workshops and classes at The Writing Institute/ Sarah Lawrence College and in schools and community centers throughout the Hudson Valley. Her experience in the field as a social worker and community organizer influences her approach and style in the classroom. Areas of interest include: culture and family life, coming of age memoir and writing about society and pop culture.

Kathy Curto holds a BA and MFA from Sarah Lawrence College and an MSW from Hunter College.
