Jessica DiMauro Marks holds an MFA in Choreography from Jacksonville University and a BFA in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College. She has taught and choreographed works extensively for both professional and pre-professional dance companies in the greater NY area, as well as in New Jersey, Connecticut and Florida. Ms. DiMauro Marks has been teaching Modern Technique and choreographing at Montclair State University for eleven years. In the fall of 2017, Jessica set her thirteenth work on the students of the Dance Department at MSU. In addition, she has had the pleasure of acting as Rehearsal Director for the department, most recently for Stacey Tookey’s new work entitled "Gift." Jessica's company, DiMauro Dance, has been selected to perform at numerous curated festivals and Ms. DiMauro Marks has self-produced many seasons for the Company, including the most recent, "I'm not done yet." at St. Mark's Church-in-the-Bowery (January 2018). Jessica is also the Artistic Director for The Steffi Dance Foundation, a celebrated dance school in its 81st year, located in White Plains, NY. In the summer of 2013, Ms. DiMauro Marks was proud to be among the first few students to be certified in May O’Donnell Technique. She is also a Certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher, ACE-Certified Personal Trainer and ACE-Certified Group Fitness Instructor.
