Bonnie L. Fong is Director for the Bloomfield College Library (BCL) at Montclair State University. In this role, she provides strategic vision and leadership for BCL resources and services, as well as operational management for the library, including managing staff, budget, and facilities.

Bonnie actively contributes to leadership and innovation in academic librarianship. She has published and presented widely in the areas of information literacy, research and reference services, and how libraries can support graduate students. She is a co-recipient of the 2017 New Jersey Library Association Research Award, and her publications were included on the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) Academic Library Services for Graduate Students Interest Group's 2021 Notable Works List.

An American Library Association (ALA) Emerging Leader, Bonnie has served in leadership roles in multiple professional library organizations throughout her career. She was elected to the Chinese American Librarians Association (CALA) Board of Directors, served on the ACRL Instruction Section Advisory Council, and recently completed her tenure as Chair of the ACRL Science & Technology Section. Bonnie currently serves as a member of the ACRL Professional Development Committee, ACRL Value of Academic Libraries Committee, and ACRL University Libraries Section Professional Development Committee. She previously served on the ACRL Appointments Committee and ALA EDI Assembly.
