One of the greatest honors of Lisa Goldman’s career happened last year when she was appointed to the Mayor’s first Animation Council in New York City. This Council advises The Animation Project (TAP) where Lisa also volunteers. For many years, as president of the New York City Chapter of Women In Animation, she loved working with the NYC animation community. Her strong connection to India inspired the creation of an Indian-themed animated preschool show that recently sold to Mattel. She’s story edited 3 seasons of the adaptation of an animated shorts series called “Baby Riki” for the UK market. She does development work for many companies. Lisa’s writing credits include “Pinky Dinky Doo,” “Pilar’s Adventures,” “Dragon Tales,” articles in Animation Magazine and on awn.com and an ebook called Burlap the Bearwolf and the Go-away Stay!. Lisa teaches her “Pitch Bible Studies” class for Montclair State University and privately for companies like Frederator, Edge Studios, and previously, for the School of Visual Arts. Lisa holds an Ed.M. from Teachers College-Columbia University.
