Profile

Keith Green leads CCOM's growth initiatives, oversees its communication and brand strategy, and facilitates the execution of the College’s long-term, strategic objectives.

In addition to leading storytelling efforts across the College's shared and owned media platforms, Keith ensures that all messaging aligns with Montclair's values and enhances visibility among key stakeholders including students, alumni, faculty, staff, prospective students, and industry partners. Keith also supervises the College's social media strategy, directs the creation of CCOM's digital and print marketing promotional material, and manages earned media opportunities related to the College in collaboration with University's Communications and Marketing team. He also is a co-leader of CCOM's Mentoring Program, which pairs the College's top students with successful alumni and friends of the program, and directs the Influencing, Marketing, and Creative Strategy Pre-college Program.

Before joining Montclair in 2019 in a 10-month role as a Visiting Professor, Keith's career included exciting jobs across the communication and events industry at NASCAR as the PR Director for two racetracks, in the NBA for the Philadelphia 76ers, as a Vice President for Guinness World Records, and as a Senior Vice President at an events agency with Fortune 500 clients.

Keith also continues to lead Hawk Communications, a student-run Strategic Communications agency taken as a course that allows students to work with area nonprofits and small businesses to gain hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, media relations, event planning and other tactical work.

Keith holds a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and a Master of Education in sports administration from Temple University.
