Patrick Haggerty is a Senior Academic Advisor in the CHSS Student Success Center. My main role is to provide academic advising and support to undergraduate students throughout the college, with a focus on incoming first year students, transfers and students on Academic Action.

Additionally, I provide support to the Assistant Dean for managing the advising center, and I coordinate all communication sent out to students during the academic year. Since the implementation of Navigate, I have served as the college liaison and point person for faculty and staff within CHSS, related to this platform.

In the Fall and Spring terms, I instruct multiple sections of GNED 199 - New Student Seminar and CHSC 299 - College to Career: Preparing for the World of Work.

I am a current member of the University Senate representing CHSS staff members (June 2025 - May 2028). I also serve on the Administrative Affairs Council and Elections Committee.
