Profile
Dr. Hazra is an Assistant Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Human Interactions in the School of Computing at Montclair State University. Her research explores the intersection of AI and human-centered systems, with applications in healthcare, sustainable technology, and intelligent decision support. Prior to joining Montclair, she held postdoctoral positions at Stanford University under the supervision of Dr. Nima Aghaeepour and at the University of Pittsburgh in Dr. Deeptankar DeMazumder’s lab, where her research focused on dynamic ECG analysis, generative modeling for precision medicine, and AI-driven clinical tools. Dr. Hazra previously worked as a Software Engineer at Atos and earned her Ph.D. in Machine Learning from Jeju National University in South Korea, under the mentorship of Dr. Yung-Cheol Byun.
