Profile
Michelle joined the Cali School of Music with over 15 years of experience in college academic advising and program coordination. Most recently, she served as an academic advisor at Fairleigh Dickinson University, supporting undergraduate students in the School of the Arts and the College of Business. She has also worked in advising and programming roles at the University of New Hampshire and Boston University, supporting undergraduate, graduate, and international scholars. Michelle holds a Master’s in Higher Education Administration from Boston University and has a strong background in academic advising, student advocacy, and college programming.
At the Cali School of Music and part of the College of the Arts Advising Team, she serves as an academic advisor and is a part of the New Student Seminar for music freshmen. To facilitate her goals, she creates a welcoming and safe environment, where the holistic care of her advisees is as essential as her academic guidance. She loves being a part of Cali's vibrant community, where she is honored to witness and connect with the music students as they grow, explore, and thrive in their creative and educational journeys. A lifelong advocate for the arts, Klemme is a former marching band and choral member whose passion for music and culture continues through her love of travel, musical theater, and German language practice.
