Margaret McCann teaches Perceptual Drawing and Painting 1 at Montclair.
She earned an MFA in Painting from Yale U., a BFA from Wash. U. in St. Louis, and studied at the NY Studio School. She has taught at Art Students League, NYAA, UVA, Pratt, Syracuse U., BU, UNH, Semester at Sea, and in Rome, Italy for 8 years.
In addition to teaching all levels of painting and drawing, McCann edited the Skira/Rizzoli book “The Figure: Contemporary Perspectives” (2014) and has written art reviews for Painters’ Table and Art New England.
