I work in epistemology, philosophy of science, metaphysics, critical thinking and some philosophy of education.
I am currently Chair of the Philosophy department, and interim Chair of the Advisory Board of the Office of Faculty Advancement. Previously, I was Chair of the General Education Committee and have served on the University Undergraduate Curriculum Committee, the Institutional Review Board, the Committee on University Effectiveness, and on the Executive Board of the University Senate.
