Katie Melz has experience working with children in an educational setting as a tutor, volunteer,
and data collector. She supported a study examining a social-emotional learning intervention
integrated with a systematic coaching approach in 3rd and 4th grade classrooms in NYC public
elementary schools as a research point person, classroom observer, and manager of several
study-related data projects. At CREEHS, she supports the education team on the administration,
analysis, and reporting of the New Jersey Middle School Risk and Protective Factors Survey.
Ms. Melz holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Fordham University.
