Maria Mera has several years of experience working with healthcare, non-profit social services and education organizations to develop, deliver and evaluate multi-year, multi-faceted applied research projects and educational programs. She has focused on high-interest areas in healthcare disparities, community wellness, patient safety and engagement, effective communication services in healthcare settings and substance abuse disorders. Maria also served as an administrator at a K-12 private school in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Currently at CREEHS, she manages the planning and administration of the Risk and Protective Factors Student Perception Survey to middle school students across the state of New Jersey.
Maria holds a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Quantitative Methods (Epidemiology and Biostatistics) from the Rutgers School of Public Health.
