Profile
Christabelle Robinson (she/they) is a lived experience professional who’s passionate about transforming how survivors are valued and engaged within the anti-trafficking movement. Armed with a cup of coffee and a pen, she’s creating spaces and moments where survivors are seen for their expertise, leadership, and diverse skill sets, not just their experiences or what happened to them. Their work centers on ethical storytelling, trauma-informed practices, and equitable survivor engagement, improving access and opportunities for survivors have a meaningful seat at all of the tables.
Since then, Christabelle has been working to build trauma-informed, survivor-centered spaces where both survivors and allies can contribute meaningfully. Her work spans training, public speaking, movement-building, policy advocacy, curriculum development, and ethical storytelling.
Beyond her advocacy, Christabelle brings a unique blend of expertise in communications strategy and ethical marketing. She’s worked with private companies and nonprofits to develop content and campaigns that prioritize accessibility, inclusion, and authenticity. Her ability to merge ethical storytelling with trauma-informed messaging helps organizations create narratives that empower communities rather than exploit them.
When she’s not immersed in her work, Christabelle channels her creativity into running an online storefront where she shares her art and macrame. She also enjoys video gaming, makeup artistry, thrifting, and curling up with a good book. And when inspiration strikes, she’s slowly but surely making progress on writing her own book (though it’s definitely a work in progress!).
