Bio
CPA and a Finance Director with experiences in the areas of Public Accounting, Corporate Finance, and Higher Education. My career started with Deloitte where I was a Senior Auditor and I had the opportunity to work with clients in various industries such as Media and Pharmaceuticals.
Later shifted companies and joined the Controller’s Group for Viacom Media Networks where I worked within General Accounting. I later transitioned to operational finance within Viacom and supported Nickelodeon as a Finance Director for both TV and Digital Finance.
While at Nickelodeon I found myself hosting various training sessions as part of a financial system implementation and I realized teaching was something I really enjoyed. And so I pursued a career here at MSU and where I am both a Senior Finance Director and an Adjunct Professor teaching Personal Finance.
This is a dream scenario for me as I get to introduce students to the principles of money management, saving, investing, and retirement planning. It is my goal to introduce students to topics that are relevant immediately upon graduation and to allow students to make educated, informed financial decisions.
