Linda Zani Thomas is the recipient of Montclair State University School of Communication's Engaged Teaching Fellowship and received the Outstanding Service Award from the MFT union in 2019. She is an adjunct professor with a background in senior leadership in the Advertising and Marketing industry. Linda has created curricula for and taught Crisis Communications, Organizational and Group Leadership, Transmedia Storytelling, and Interpersonal Communications at Montclair State University. She has also served as an Internship Advisor and an Academic Advisor and is one of two instructors that created curricula for the Paterson One Square Mile grant. Linda is devoted to creating engaging classroom experiences for all of her students at MSU.

Linda won the Academic Excellence Award at William Paterson University in 2017 for her Master's thesis on Crisis Management. She is a long-time community activist and parent advocate for families of children and adults with developmental disabilities, and currently the Managing Editor of New Jersey Parents of Developmentally Disabled Adults. https://www.linkedin.com/in/linda-zani-thomas-39202a20/
