Bio

Yawei holds a Ph.D. in Recreation & Tourism from Clemson University. Her research focuses on travel and tourism - with emphasis on mature tourism and aging. Her teaching interests include introduction to leisure & tourism, behavioral concepts in leisure & tourism, research methods in leisure & tourism. Prior to joining MSU, Yawei worked with the Gerontology Research Interdisciplinary Team in the College of Health Education & Human Development at Clemson.

North Jersey Partners has requested a survey that gauges consumer awareness of entertainment, arts, and retail opportunities throughout Northern New Jersey. Dr. Weston and I have participated in the teleconferences and developed a survey in Spring 2009.
  • Academic, The Lakewood Blueclaws (Minor League Baseball). (March 2007 - August 2007). Dr. Weston and I were approached by the Blueclaws, who would like to serve their Minor League Baseball fans better. We designed and conducted an online survey for them.
