Move-out Donations

Have stuff you won’t need after you leave campus or just need to clear out some closet space?

Skip the dumpster! —– Donate your stuff and keep it out of the landfill!

Bring your donations to the tan storage units at the following locations between April 29 – May 16.

Outside of Dinallo Heights in Lot 25
Outside of Hawk Crossings – 200s building in Lot 29
Between Sinatra Hall & Williams Hall in Lot 47
Outside of Count Basie Hall on the roadway

What we’re collecting:

Textiles	Household Goods & Electronics*	Storage & Organization
Clothing Bedding Towels	Pots & pans Dishes & Bowls Mugs & Glasses Utensils Mirrors Small appliances (toasters, microwaves, min-fridges) mini-fridges must be empty Fans Lamps Alarm clocks Surge protectors	Hampers Plastic hangers Over the door hooks & racks Storage boxes Drawer sets Small shelves

*Mini-fridges must be empty and any electronic devices/appliances must be in working order.

Unacceptable Items:

Food
Cleaning Supplies
Mattress toppers

Last year, we donated 3,467 lbs. of material. This year, we’re hoping to beat that number by partnering with multiple organizations to make sure your items find a new home.
