The Finance minor adds valuable financial knowledge to your major, helping you make smarter decisions in your career and in your personal life. Designed for students in business-related fields who aren’t concentrating in Finance, the 18-credit program provides a strong foundation in areas like corporate finance, investments, and financial markets.

You’ll start with core courses in economics, accounting, and finance, then take the required investments and corporate finance courses and customize your path with an elective in areas such as financial planning, international finance, fintech, blockchain, and financial derivatives. Along the way, you’ll gain practical skills for managing money, evaluating opportunities, and understanding how financial decisions impact organizations and economies.

This minor is open to Feliciano School of Business students majoring in Accounting, Business Administration (non-Finance concentrations), Economics (non-Asset Management), and Hospitality, Sports, Events, and Tourism with a GPA of 2.5 or higher. See the curriculum.
