Dr. Youngna Choi, Associate Professor, Mathematics will give this presentation sponsored by SIAM via Zoom. Dr. Choi will talk about investigating the effectiveness of the government’s policies and economic stimuli during the 2007 Subprime Mortgage Crisis followed by the Great Recession and during the Covid-19 pandemic. Her presentation will also cover a comparison of the financial levels of different demographics of US households and investigate the pros and cons of government policies for each demographic.

There will be a Q&A session at the end, so please bring any questions you'd like to ask!
