Montclair’s College of Communication and Media Launches Online Merchandise Store
Posted in: CCOM News
Montclair State University’s College of Communication and Media (CCOM) has launched an official online, order-on-demand merchandise store, giving students, alumni, faculty, staff, and supporters a new way to show off their Red Hawk pride. The store offers general CCOM and CCOM alumni t-shirts, long-sleeve shirts, crewnecks and hoodies, as well as apparel from the College’s student-run media organizations and clubs. Revenue generated from merchandise sales will support student initiatives and benefit the featured organizations and clubs.
The store is now live at www.ccommerch.com.
In addition to general CCOM and CCOM Alumni merchandise, apparel is available from the following student media organizations and clubs:
WMSC (radio station), The Montclarion (newspaper), Hawk Communications (strategic communications agency), Red Hawk Sports Network (sports network), Hawk+ (streaming network), Montclair Ad Club (Advertising Club) and News Lab (digital newsroom). The store also features merchandise from Montclair’s Public Relations Student Society of America chapter, the Red Hawk Studio (student-run digital production club) and the Center for Cooperative Media, which serves the public by working to grow and strengthen local journalism and media
“The new store allows us to expand the CCOM brand while giving our community the opportunity to show off their pride beyond our studios, classrooms, and media organizations,” said Dr. Keith Strudler, Dean of the College of Communication and Media. “This store is a celebration of our community and a way to make CCOM gear accessible to everyone at an affordable price while supporting our students.”
FAQ’S
What does the merchandise cost and are there any shipping costs and additional fees?
Merchandise ranges from $20-40. All items are printed and shipped in New Jersey. Orders over $100 ship for free. Visit the store for additional information on shipping options.
Why is CCOM launching its own merchandise store?
To give students, alumni, faculty and supporters an affordable way to show their College pride while supporting student-centered initiatives.
When is the store launching, and where can I shop?
The store is live at www.ccommerch.com
Will new items or program-specific designs be added?
Yes. Keep an eye out for new designs, seasonal drops and program-specific merchandise!
How does the printing and shipping process work and where does the revenue go?
Our third party partner prints and ships all orders on demand. Revenue generated from merchandise sales will support student initiatives and benefit our student media organizations/clubs.
