Dream of starting your own business, launching a product, or building a nonprofit? The 9-credit Certificate in Entrepreneurship is designed to help you think like an innovator and gain the hands-on skills to bring your ideas to life.

Through three highly interactive courses, you’ll form teams with students from across disciplines, guided by instructors and mentors as you work through the business modeling, prototyping an MVP, and validation process. In your final course, you’ll prepare to pitch, market, and launch your venture.

Along the way, you’ll also develop entrepreneurial skills — like problem-solving, collaboration, and persuasive communication — that are highly valued by employers in every industry. Whether you want to start your own venture or stand out in the job market, this certificate sets you apart.
The certificate can be completed in just two semesters through three courses:

  • ENTR 201 – The Entrepreneurial Mindset and Innovation
  • ENTR 301 – Creating Your Startup Business Model
  • ENTR 302 – Preparing to Pitch and Launch Your Startup
