The Clean Energy and Sustainability Analytics Center (CESAC) at Montclair State University will facilitate dialogue for the development and execution of New Jersey’s plan for a clean and sustainable energy future on Monday, November 26 at the Annual Clean and Sustainable Energy Summit.
The Summit will provide a venue for an informed participant-driven discussion on clean energy and sustainability challenges and solutions in the State of New Jersey and beyond. The event will serve as an opportunity for policymakers, industry representatives, NGOs, academics and other stakeholders to further the discussion on clean and sustainable energy and help shape the future of the state’s energy plan.
An all-day slate of panel discussions will feature the state’s preeminent voices on New Jersey’s energy plan, including New Jersey Board of Public Utilities President Joseph L. Fiordaliso, Congressman Frank Pallone Jr. (the ranking member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee) and New Jersey Board of Public Utilities Commissioner Upendra Chivulkula. PSEG Institute for Sustainability Studies Director Amy Tuininga and CESAC Director Pankaj Lal will also participate in discussions that will tackle topics including the designing of evidence-based frameworks for energy transition, and policy perspectives towards a sustainable clean energy future.
The Clean Energy and Sustainability Analytics Center is a public research and technical assistance center for the State of New Jersey to identify, quantify and interpret the ramifications of clean energy development and to facilitate energy planning. The Center provides support for clean energy policies, technology, and practices through research and education programs in hopes of developing an approach for clean energy analysis that will provide long-term solutions and build a sustainable New Jersey energy economy.
The Annual Clean and Sustainable Energy Summit is an invitation-only event. To attend, please email CESAC@montclair.edu with your name, affiliation and interest justification.
