Montclair State University President Susan A. Cole and mascot Rocky welcomed Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) for a visit to the University’s on-campus flu shot clinic on October 8.

Providing hands-on experience for Montclair State University nursing students who administered the vaccines, the clinics are free for students, employees and the community at large with no insurance required. Vaccines are being supplied by Zufall Health Center for adults 19 and older, while Montclair State University is providing vaccines for people 18 and younger.

There are two remaining dates for community members to receive free flu shots: Wednesday, October 14 and Thursday, October 15. Both events will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in Lot 17 on the Montclair State University campus.
