As part of its role as an Hispanic-Serving Institution, Montclair State University is now producing webinars about financial aid and understanding student financial aid packages in both English and Spanish.

The Spanish Financial Aid webinar will be monthly on Wednesdays at 5 p.m. starting February 17, 2021.

The English Financial Aid webinar will be monthly on Thursdays at 5 p.m. starting February 18, 2021.

There will also be Spanish “Understanding your Financial Aid Package” webinars on February 11 and March 18 at 6 p.m., and an English version on March 10 and April 15 at 6 p.m.

Additional parent sessions are available on topics ranging from academic advising and first-year course scheduling (February 16 at 6 p.m.) and supporting your student during virtual learning (February 23 at 6 p.m), as well as an open session for Spanish speaking families facilitated by Assistant Vice President for Hispanic Serving Initiatives Katia Paz Goldfarb. Webinars for parents can be found at the parent portal.

“We at Montclair State are here to support you and our future students at every step in their journey to college,” says Paz Goldfarb. “We know that working together we are stronger. Montclair State University will be part of your family, and you will be part of the Red Hawk family. Queremos ser parte de esta gran etapa en sus vidas, los esperamos!”
