Essex County is sending its mobile vaccine clinic to campus on Mondays in August. All employees and students are eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine at no cost.

The clinics will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the following Mondays: Aug. 2, Aug. 9, Aug. 16 and Aug 30 in Lot 7, next to the Panzer Athletic Center. The clinic originally scheduled for Aug. 23 has been cancelled.

All three approved vaccines will be available: the single-dose Johnson & Johnson shot, and the two-dose vaccines from Moderna and Pfizer. All three are options for anyone 18 and older, but only the Pfizer vaccine is approved for those aged 12-17.

Appointments are requested, but walk-ins are also accepted. Whether you have an appointment or are walking in, bring your University ID. Visit this page to make an appointment online.

Vouchers for free parking in the Red Hawk Deck will be available at the clinic.

The University requires that all students who will be studying or living on campus in the fall semester be vaccinated (unless approved for an exemption as allowed by New Jersey law), and the University strongly encourages all employees to get vaccinated. For more information visit the COVID-19 information website.

Vaccination provides the best protection against COVID-19 and a vaccinated campus will enable the in-person educational experience that makes attending Montclair State so highly desirable.

If you cannot make it to one of the on-campus clinics, you can get vaccinated at many other locations. Just text your zip code to “438829” and vaccination locations will be texted to your phone. You can also locate vaccine clinics on the state’s vaccine finder.
