Montclair State University President Jonathan Koppell hosted a Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, April 19 attended by faculty and staff, where he addressed a variety of topics from the budget to residence life policies to the University’s expanded relationship with Bloomfield College.

During the session, which was also livestreamed and is available for viewing, Koppell also touched on the inequities in New Jersey’s funding of higher education institutions, and how, most importantly, it is Montclair State University’s students who are being underfunded and how he is looking to change that.

New Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Junius Gonzales also spoke to the group in attendance, and outlined his plan for the coming year while highlighting the work being done to foster student success.
