In an effort to expand its offerings of life-changing educational opportunities to students around the world, Montclair State University has partnered with INTO University Partnerships, a global education partnering organization.

The international student recruitment collaboration aims to enhance the University’s global reach and provide opportunities for international students.

Beginning in January 2024, the partnership will create new opportunities for aspiring students around the world. INTO will commence recruitment immediately through its extensive network of education agents worldwide.

“As an integral part of Montclair State University’s long-term Strategic Enrollment Plan, our mission is centered around embracing diversity and enriching the educational experience for all our students,” says Montclair Vice President for Enrollment Management Wendy Lin-Cook. “Our partnership with INTO is a strategic step toward enhancing our global outreach and attracting brilliant minds from across the world. Together, we aspire to cultivate a dynamic campus environment that empowers students for success in an interconnected world.”

The Office of Global Engagement at Montclair is the University’s primary resource for all incoming and current F-1 and J-1 international students. Besides assisting incoming students with their application process, the Office also supports new and returning students with immigration questions.

In addition, international students now have access to the Office of Student Belonging, which provides a variety of cohort-based experiences that promote a strong connection to the University for students who are international, freshmen, transfers, first-generation and military-affiliated.

“This partnership gives us the opportunity to reach international students around the world,” says Montclair Assistant Vice President for Global Engagement Cristiana Kunyczka. “INTO will allow us to tap into new markets very quickly, thus helping us build Montclair’s brand abroad. As we focus on access to quality education, we want more international students to be able to benefit from everything Montclair has to offer.”

“INTO and Montclair share a common goal of providing transformative educational experiences and empowering students to achieve their academic and career aspirations. Through this collaboration, international students will have access to an extensive range of undergraduate and graduate programs across various disciplines, with comprehensive education that prepares them for success in the global marketplace,” says INTO CEO John Sykes.
