Rabia Hanif, PhD is an Adjunct Instructor of Psychology and Project Coordinator in the School of Nursing at Montclair State University. She leads a federally funded SAMHSA initiative focused on strengthening the behavioral health workforce through high-impact education and training in Substance Use Disorders (SUD). Her work includes designing and delivering evidence-based curricula, coordinating programs such as Mental Health First Aid, Motivational Interviewing, and Diagnosis to Recovery, and leading strategic outreach to enhance program visibility and engagement.
In her current role, Dr. Hanif manages cross-sector partnerships, oversees continuing education accreditation, and directs data collection, evaluation, and grant reporting to ensure full regulatory compliance. She also leads major event planning, including an interdisciplinary conference scheduled for June 2025, and supports educational podcast development to translate research into accessible, practice-oriented content.
