Tara holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology, and is currently pursuing a PsyD in clinical adolescent psychology at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her research interests include qualitative methods, LGBTQ+ youth, and youth experiences of diversity.

Mario A. Menjivar holds a master’s degree from Montclair State University in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in children and adolescents. Mario works as an interviewer and a coder for the RYTE Institute for the BSA BEST Study. Mario also works as a clinician at the Youth Development Clinic in Newark, a clinic for at-risk and low-income youth and their families. Mario is especially interested in childhood trauma and the effects on children as they enter adolescence.

Alysandra J. Zhang is a researcher based at Teachers College, Columbia University where she is currently a master’s candidate in the Department of Counseling and Clinical Psychology. Broadly speaking, Alysandra’s scholarly interests include the utilization of quantitative research methods and technology to improve overall population outcomes and wellbeing. She is currently working in RYTE Institute as a quantitative analyst.

Dai’jah graduated from Montclair State University in 2020 with an MA in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Psychology. Dai’jah’s research interests include how parent-child, relations, and community factors affect child development and psychopathology. Additionally, she is interested in studying the effectiveness and dissemination of evidence-based early intervention for high-risk youth with disruptive behaviors in preventing later delinquency.
