Apply for a Fulbright Grant to teach, study or conduct research abroad!

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers research, study, and English teaching assistant opportunities in over 140 countries to recent graduates and graduate students.

Juniors, seniors, graduate students and recent graduates can apply for funding to study, research or teach English abroad. Applicants from ALL academic fields are welcome!   

The Fulbright Program has provided approximately 318,000 participants—chosen for their academic merit and leadership potential — with the opportunity to study, teach and conduct research, exchange ideas and contribute to finding solutions to shared international concerns.

Fulbright Scholar Liaison and Fulbright alumnus, Professor David Schwarzer of the College of Education and Human Services will lead an interactive session with applicants to the Fulbright U.S. Student Program.

  • strategies for selecting the right grant
  • drafting and peer review of statements of grant purpose and personal statements
  • Getting started with the application and/or continue developing it
