Dedicated to Lawton W. Blanton, Jr. in 1982, former dean of students. Created with a 'mall' atmosphere, this building accommodates over 686 male and female students, in double rooms connected by a bathroom arranged as suites. Blanton has four wings, A, B, C, & D. Each wing houses 43 students per floor. It features an atrium with a buffet style cafeteria, glass elevators, air conditioning, spacious lounges, quiet study rooms and an overall comfortable living atmosphere.
