Summer is here! Staying informed about campus services is key. Whether you’re studying, relaxing or exploring, we’ve got the details on dining, study spaces, and more to help you navigate campus this summer.
From now through Friday, May 29, the University will be operating on our normal Monday – Friday schedule, with a few changes in hours for various departments (see below).
Beginning Monday, June 2, the University will be closed on Fridays through the week of August 8. The University will be closed on July 4 for Independence Day and Juneteenth will be observed on Friday, June 20. For both dates there will be no classes held. We will kick things back off this fall for the 2026 semester on Friday, August 28 which will follow a Monday class schedule.

Parking Services
A valid permit is required to park on campus. Please carefully review the information below before purchasing your permit. You can view full details about the Parking Regulations.
- Summer permits are valid from May 5, 2026 through August 28, 2026.
- Permits are issued based on enrollment status and student classification, using information provided by the Office of the Registrar.
- Students enrolled in Summer Session courses may purchase:
- General/Commuter Permit: $25.00 (plus tax)
- Red Hawk Deck Permit: $50.00 (plus tax)
- Students not enrolled in summer classes but planning to park on campus may purchase a General/Commuter permit for $25.00 (plus tax).
- Students who held an Academic Year 2025–2026 permit, including NJ Transit permit holders, must purchase a summer permit to park on campus during the summer months.
