Dedicated in 1958 to Swiss-born gymnast Henry Panzer.  It was at this time that the Panzer College of Physical Education and Hygiene of East Orange, New Jersey merged with what was then Montclair State College. This complex contains 3 gyms, a weight room, a swimming pool, a fitness center and faculty offices. West of the building is Sprague Field, complete with a new Astroturf surface and lights. Tennis courts and Pittser Field are located nearby. A running track, softball fields and a multipurpose field are located on the north side of the campus.  Panzer is home to the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and used for physical education classes.

The weight room and gymnasium were fully renovated in the summer of 2010.
