Get to Know Us

We serve as the "clearinghouse" for programming events on campus. We play an active role in assisting all clubs and organizations as they plan on- or off- campus events. Our office puts out monthly activity calendars, while also serving as advisors and facilitators for student clubs, organizations and the Student Government.

Leadership Development

We offer leadership development programs including student leadership workshops and seminars, community service projects, Presidential Leaders, All Together Different Diversity Retreats, amongst many others.

Evening & Weekend Programming

We offer afternoon, night and weekend events including open mic and Karaoke nights, concerts, theatre trips, parties, and movie nights. We are always looking to your talents are our special events.

Commuter Students

We, the Office for the Commuter Association Resources and Services (CARS) provide services, programs, advocacy, research and outreach for commuter students. Be on the lookout for programs especially for commuters! We provide a resource center in the Commuter Lounge for commuter students.

Greek Life

We have over 36 Greek organizations on campus. Each organization represents either areas of academic, social, or service commitment. Our activities include annual participation in Homecoming and Greek Week.

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) Center

The LGBT Center seeks to create an open, accepting, and affirming atmosphere for LGBT students, faculty, staff and their allies at Montclair State University. Through education, programming, advocacy and discussion groups, the LGBT Center allows for unique and important conversations to occur regarding the LGBT community.

Center for Non Violence and Peace Initiatives (CNVPI)

The Center for Non-Violence and Peace Initiatives supports and enhances the educational mission of Montclair State University by serving as a vehicle to create a safe learning, working, and living environment based on equality and respect. We provide advocacy and resource assistance to victims of violence and work to identify the causes of individual and global violence in addition to the most effective responses to these forms of violence.
