What is the NJCH Community History (CH) program?

The New Jersey Council for the Humanities Community History program is an intensive, experiential offering for nonprofit organizations interested in documenting community stories, especially from voices often overlooked or marginalized.

The CH program allows organizations to participate in a structured course to develop an understanding of the principles of public history, investigate tools and modalities for doing that work in concert with their communities, and work with history professionals of various expertise. Each organization receives seed funding to begin their community history project.

All participants should review the njhumanities.org prior to participating in the webinar.
