An essential overview of graduate study at Montclair, this session covers key academic policies, expectations, and resources every graduate student should know. You’ll also learn how The Graduate School supports you from enrollment through graduation.*It is highly recommended that you attend either the virtual session or watch the on demand recording.

Navigating Your Graduate Experience
This session focuses on immigration requirements for F-1 graduate students and introduces the MyGlobal Portal and immigration check-in process. Students will also gain insight into U.S. academic culture. *This session is mandatory for all new international students.

Foundations of Graduate Student Success
Designed to help you start strong, this session introduces the core principles of graduate success, including academic integrity and research standards, while giving you the opportunity to connect with peers in your program. Breakfast will be provided. *This session is mandatory for all new international students.

If you’re a new Graduate or Doctoral Assistant, you will need to attend an additional onboarding.
Students in fully online programs have a dedicated online‑only orientation.
