Nursing (Pre-licensure MSN)

Have you ever thought about becoming a registered nurse (RN), but earned your baccalaureate degree in a non-nursing discipline?

Montclair State University is now offering an accelerated, 7-semester program, which will educate you to become a licensed registered nurse (RN) and sit the NCLEX-RN exam after successfully completing the program.

With a unique focus on care coordination and evidence-based practice, our students gain the knowledge required for making a difference in the lives of persons, families, and communities.

This is your first step to becoming a registered nurse.

The master’s degree program in nursing at Montclair State University is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

If you are interested in the MSN program and are already a registered nurse (RN) that holds a BSN degree, learn more about our Nursing (MSN) Online program options.
