BS in Exercise Science Program
All internal transfers must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 to be eligible for acceptance into the Exercise Science major.
- CHANGE OF MAJOR or add a MINOR please follow these instructions or speak to an advisor.
- COURSE PERMITS please complete the Overload or Override HPEM/EXSC/PEMJ/PEGN XXX form.
The following recommendations are intended as a general guide for students interested in some of the specific careers listed here:
- Medical Professions (Medical Doctor or Physician Associate)
- Allied Health Professions (Physical Therapist, Athletic Trainer, Occupational Therapist, or Chiropractor)
- Exercise Science Professions (Clinical Exercise Physiologist or Sport
Conditioning Specialist)
Majors interested in medical and other health related fields (e.g., physical therapy, occupational therapy, physician associate, nursing, etc.) are encouraged to join the Pre-Medical Program. Students of any major at the university can also join the Pre-Medical Program. Joining this program provides students with additional advisement and useful services.
