Montclair State University is committed to creating a safe, secure campus environment. With a full-time police force, emergency text alerts and a focus on prevention, safety is a shared priority. Students play a key role too by locking doors, safeguarding belongings and staying aware of their surroundings.
The University has earned the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Award, is a designated Stigma-Free campus and is one of just 17 colleges nationwide awarded a Suicide Prevention Grant by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
